Join us for the opening celebrations for the Wollumbin Art Award (WAA) with winner announced on the night.

6 pm – Doors open for Wollumbin Art Award

6:30 pm – Official Opening of WAA with Uncle Victor, Aunty Joyce Summers and 2026 guest judge Professor Lisa Slade, who will announce winners of the Wollumbin Art Award.

The Wollumbin Art Award 2026 is proudly sponsored by Bondor Metecno, via the Tweed Regional Gallery Foundation Ltd.

• The $15,000 Award plus 2-week residency at the Nancy Fairfax Artist in Residence Studio at TRG&MOAC.
• The $10,000 Bundjalung Award for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, sponsored by the Tweed Regional Gallery Foundation Ltd plus an exhibition at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. 
• The $5,000 Emerging Artist Award supported by Leanne & Greg Tong-Lyon.

The WAA People's Choice Award sponsored by the Friends of the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre Inc and The Artist's Apothecary.
